- Precautions 1. For fresh wall allow 28 days for curing before application.
2. Dry and absorbent surfaces should be moistened with sufficient quantity of water.
3. It is recommended to use mechanical stirrer for uniform mixing. Always prepare required quantity and use within 2-3 hours.
4. It is not essential to sand/rub the surface, however in order to remove unevenness gently level the surface with abrasive paper greater than grit no. 500.
5. Any seepage or efflorescence on the wall, should be treated before application of waterproof polymer putty.

Surface Preparation
Allow 3 months curing prior to painting for newly plastered surfaces. Sprinkle the surface with water.

Cleaning
Clean the surface of loose paint, dust and grease by sanding with emery paper. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Application
Apply one coat of Cement putty by putty blade by mixing with 30-40% water by weight. Allow to dry for 6-8 hours. If required, gently rub the surface using abrasive paper grit no.500 or higher OR gently use putty blade to remove loose particles.Apply second coat of Cement putty and allow to dry, ideally for 10-12 hours. The total thickness of the applied putty should not be more than 1.5mm.
