Allow 3 months curing prior to painting for newly plastered surfaces. Sprinkle the surface with water.

Clean the surface of loose paint, dust and grease by sanding with emery paper. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Apply one coat of Cement putty by putty blade by mixing with 30-40% water by weight. Allow to dry for 6-8 hours. If required, gently rub the surface using abrasive paper grit no.500 or higher OR gently use putty blade to remove loose particles.Apply second coat of Cement putty and allow to dry, ideally for 10-12 hours. The total thickness of the applied putty should not be more than 1.5mm.
